New horizons for sensor developers: ferrite shell cores from DMEGC

Increasing automation is leading to growing demand for sensors in all areas, especially inductive proximity switches.

A central component in these sensors is the ferrite shell core. It has a significant influence on the functionality and reliability of the systems.

Until now, EPCOS, Kolektor, and Kaschke were considered the leading suppliers of these ferrites. But with DMEGC, we can now offer a genuine alternative.

DMEGC offers exactly the right ferrite cores for this application: from standard cores to customized solutions, from very small (P3.3) to very large (P70).

DMEGC also offers suitable, temperature-stable types of materials:

  • DMR70 – comparable to N22/N26/N48, 16G/26G or K2005, for typical oscillator frequencies up to 100 kHz
  • DMR7M - comparable to M33, 10G or K600, for applications up to approx.
    1 MHz

With DMEGC, developers gain more design freedom and benefit from increased flexibility in procurement - an important advantage, especially in times of supply bottlenecks!
