Resistors
Thick-film resistors
These compact high-power resistors, ranging from 100 W to 800 W, are characterised by high insulation resistance and low partial discharge. They have low inductance and can be mounted directly onto a heat sink.
Film resistors
The key feature of these high-power resistors is their high energy absorption capacity (25 J/50 µs). The 500 W resistor has low inductance and exhibits high partial discharge.
Wire resistors
The resistors are designed for different power ratings and are housed in aluminium casings. These provide effective heat dissipation. A range of shapes and terminals is available. All types are also available in a low-inductance version.
